NewSPAL’s collection is available for hire by any individual or group nationwide. Browsing of the catalogues, whether online or in person at the Library, is free.
We have two catalogues. The Sets catalogue is for drama and music groups wishing to borrow multiple copies of the same item and for orchestral/band sets. The Individual items catalogue holds our extensive range of chamber music, song collections, instrument tutors, full and miniature scores, drama anthologies, and a huge variety of books on the performing arts.

Individual items catalogue
Individual users will need to pay an Annual Subscription fee of £24 (concessions £12*)
Membership gives you access to the full collection of individual items without further charge. A maximum of 8 items may be borrowed at any time.
We will need to verify your identity and address before any lending takes place and will contact you for this purpose.
Fees will be levied for late returns and/or lost items.
Renewals will be possible, subject to any requests by other users.
*Concessions apply to those over 60, under 18, in full time education, registered disabled
