What skills, knowledge and interests can you bring to NewSPAL , now that we have taken over the lending service from Surrey Libraries? What sort of relevant work have you done before?

​We would welcome volunteers to help with the cataloguing which is ongoing, but our current priority is for Welcome Desk volunteers and those who might be able to  help pick and pack sets for group hires (would involve some lifting and moving of boxes up to 15 Kg in weight).

    5a We all have existing commitments so we won't hold you to your answers below. They'll give us an idea of your availability, and help us spot when groups of people can work together. We can discuss exact dates later. NB opening days for the visitor-facing Welcome Desk role are Wednesday to Saturday, but cataloguing and general assistance takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays as well.
